imPURE workplan, WP interactions & TRL transitions
The activities of imPURE project are divided in 7 Work Packages (WP), which will interact with each other as illustrated in Figure on the left.
- WP1 all product specifications for the CMSs will be collected and shared with the rest WPs (2 to 6), in order to design appropriately the moulds, inserts, components, as well as to determine the injection moulding conditions for the modified lines. In parallel, the raw materials needed for the fully operation of the lines, including feedstock material and functional additives will be provided to WP2. WP1 will also set the regulatory framework for the production of CMSs and will foresee the end-of-life strategies of each product.
- WP2 is the core of imPURE, since it deals with the Injection Moulding Lines Repurposing and the development of all CMSs. For the Repurposing of the Pilot and Industrial lines in WP2.
- WP3 and WP4 are dedicated to Modular Mould Design and Manudfacturing through AM, respectively, is need. The optimization of the Repurposed Injection Moulding Lines will be supported by modelling activities, machine learning, data analysis and cloud manufacturing that are included in WP6. By this, the remote control of the lines will be achieved. All these actions will be shared with the EU networks that are described in WP5. Moreover, the Supply Chain Establishment and Distribution of the CMSs in EU will be addressed in WP5, together with the necessary Exploitation and Business Planning.Finally.
- WP7 will monitor the work during the project and align it with the COVID-19.
